on the weekend i attended an engagement party at the border, then bombed my way back into vancouver for jack's stag.


i've been to a handful of stags now, but this was my first where the groom had to blow out a candle... btw, the candle holder looked used, dirty, and pierced.




what better way to use all the testosterone in the air than to arm wrestle. POWER UP!!! has anyone else noticed how huge rodel is now??? he was just some skinny high school kid a few years ago, crap!


and who could forget "crazy ron"? can't be a party unless he's there to stir up some shit!

so what's new? we went to kelowna and didn't do as well as we could've, didn't help that we were 2 paddlers down the final day, but somehow we medalled. great weekend, but the true competitive highlight of the weekend was fooseball.


...in the end, team china (with their left defence ball hogging) could not handle the mudslide that was team chocolate-face.


some of you might be thinking that it was just a game, but it truly got intense (as you can tell by john's armpit).

death in the family.

ate, if you're reading this, mommy julita passed away. if you read this jeff, can you pass this along to my ate.

i just got off the the phone with mommy dearest and we've had a death in the family. she's an aunt to my mom and when my mom called me she was pretty hysterical. i tried at first to calm her down and when i got her to a level where i could understand what she was saying, i happened to say, "why are you so upset?" now i didn't mean it because we don't care for mommy julita, but the thing is she's been expected to pass away for a long time now. i'm not talking about like the passed few years, but i can remember her health being really poor before i was even in high school. my mom took what i said initially as a heartless comment and began to tear me a new asshole with her tears and screams, but i managed to explain to her what i meant. fortunately she understood where i was coming from and really did begin to calm down.

hookie hurts

i've been playing hookie the passed couple of days, but today i actually started to feel sick! went out for a couple of drinks, and now i feel like i'm coming down with something. how messed up is that?
